  • Kontex Towel
    Since 1934, Kontex has been crafting high-quality towels in Imabari, Japan. The secret to Kontex' softness is in the manufacturing process. Each towel is made from fine, garment quality thread that’s loosely twisted for the highest level of softness. Such threads would break on modern weaving machines, thus Kontex towels are gently woven on traditional, low-speed machines to maintain the integrity of the thread and achieve a level of softness that modern machines cannot produce.

    Because towels contact the skin, we find it imperative that no substances which could affect the body remain on the surface of the towel. Kontex products are carefully washed with large quantities of fresh spring water from the melted snow of Mt. Ishizuchi, ensuring every thread is free from impurities

    Featuring the same slow open weave and airy plushness as its namesake Lana, the Re.Lana towel collection is made kinder by utilising scrap cotton byproducts that would otherwise end up in a landfill. Just one bath towel upcycles 179g of discarded cotton, minimising CO2 emissions and reducing the use of water and dyes in the process.

    AUSTRALIAN DELIVERIES

    We use Australia Post to deliver our orders. Shipping rates are calculated on your order weight and destination. You can check your shipping rates in your cart or at checkout

    EXPRESS Post takes 1-2 business days. REGULAR Post takes 1-5 working days.

    FREE SHIPPING is available on purchases over $150 (IANS stocked items). Orders over $400 will be shipped for free by Express Post.

    DESPATCH TIMES: Orders received before 12:00 PM will ship the same day. Orders received after 12:00 PM will ship the next business day. We do not ship orders on weekends or public holidays

    LOCAL PICK UP: Brisbane customers may chose to collect IANS stocked items from our despatch address.

    TRANSIT COVER: We highly recommend paying the small additional fee for transit insurance to ensure peace of mind. Shipping + Insurance options are available during checkout.

    Some products are shipped direct to you by the brand. Shipping rates, free shipping and delivery times are set by each partner and displayed in your cart or at checkout.

    Combined Orders

    If you have items in your cart from both IANS stocked brands + our partner brands, or multiple partner brands, the shipping calculator will return a combined shipping rate "Shipping" which gives you the lowest rate from each partner including free shipping when available. With a combined order your items will ship separately by IANS and/or the respective brands.

    We use Australia Post to deliver international orders. You can choose from Express Courier (1-2 days), Express International (2-4 days), International Pack & Track (3-10 days).

    We accept returns within 14 days from the shipping date. Shipping is non-refundable (including free shipping paid by us). Bank fees will also be deducted from your refund.

    PLEASE NOTE: Due to hygiene reasons we are unable to accept returns on any used or opened items. Please check your products BEFORE opening to ensure you have the right product.
