Owning the research, development and production process from start to finish ensures high quality every step of the way. We manufacture in small batches in our Vermont laboratory so that our products are as fresh as possible when they get to your doorstep. Most competitors outsource the manufacturing of their products to cut costs but we love producing them ourselves, and believe that the process is part of the pleasure of creation.

Our products were developed from scratch by Tata and a team of industry experts. Our formulas contain no generic fillers or pre-made bases – every ingredient has a specific purpose and delivers targeted results.

We pack between 9 and 29 active ingredients in every bottle! Most cosmetic formulas contain between 1 and 3 active ingredients. Multiactive formulas result in multifunctioning products – which means you only buy one powerful product, not 6.

We believe that businesses should take responsibility for the environmental repercussions of their actions, so we strive to be as eco-friendly as possible! We buy renewable energy from the state of VT to run our facilities, we buy recycled paper and packaging material, we use recycleable glass bottles for our products and we keep all activity in one place to cut down on our carbon footprint. We believe that if companies talk the talk, they should walk the walk – no greenwashing!
Why did I start Tata Harper Skincare?
When I set out to create my own skincare line, I wasn’t looking to replicate products that were already on the market. My founding mission was to give the skincare industry a fresh start with highly effective and luxurious anti-ageing beauty products that are completely free of synthetic and chemical ingredients. I believe people deserve beauty products that deliver the results they want, without putting their health at risk. As a company we seek to challenge the assumption that ‘natural’ means less effective. I’m passionate about promoting a modern, health-conscious natural beauty lifestyle that’s committed to safety, honesty and sustainability.
I grew up in Colombia, where beauty is a way of life. My cabinets were always full of the latest and most luxurious lotions and creams but it wasn’t until my stepfather was diagnosed with cancer that I started to take a look at the ingredients that were in the products I used on my body every day. Upon doing a little research, I was shocked to discover they were full of potentially dangerous chemicals, some of which were carcinogenic (cancer causing)!
I began searching for a truly 100% natural skincare line that didn’t compromise on smell, texture or performance, but I found nothing that delivered the hard anti-ageing science, technology and results that I was used to. It was then that I decided to take my entrepreneurial experience and my love for science to create my own products with a team of top industry experts from around the world.
