Chocolate Sun is an all natural, organic sunless tanning company located in Santa Monica, California which offers a variety sunless self-tanning products. 

Created by natural skincare enthusiast Susie Phillips, Chocolate Sun Collection is a sunless solution that is, first and foremost, a hydrating and nurturing skin care treatment with the benefit of tanning the skin. 

Formulated with the highest concentrations of organic and wild crafted herbs and botanicals, Chocolate Sun delivers the most natural results on all skin types, and is a hydrating and protective treatment. With Chocolate Sun's collection, you can achieve a sun-kissed glow, a deep dark tan, and everything in between. 

Handcrafted in small batches, each batch begins with a proprietary blend of natural botanicals and herbs chosen for their powerful and protective anti-oxidant properties, natural sunscreen properties and nurturing and hydrating qualities.

Chocolate Sun's active tanning ingredient, Dihydroxyacetone (DHA), is derived from sugar beets and sugar cane. This sugar is the active ingredient that causes the skin to darken when applied topically. DHA is listed in the FDA regulations as an approved colour additive for use in imparting colour to the human body.

The Chocolate Sun collection are free of mineral oils, dyes, lanolin, parabens, PABA, alcohol, petro-chemicals, sodium lauryl sulfate, and formaldehyde. They are non-comedogenic. 

Chocolate Sun products are never tested on animals and are vegan friendly. With an eye on the environment, they use recycled materials when choosing bottles and the packaging is minimal, no excess boxes and outer plastic wrapping.

Because Chocolate Sun is made with organically grown botanicals and herbs, pure essential oils and chemical-free preservatives, it is free of the unpleasant odour often associated with conventional sunless tanning products.
